This a generation of people who do not believe that a child can only be well bought up in a marriage union. There are many babies who are born to parents who are not legally bind together. It could be because the child came before the wedding thought the wedding is coming up. Then there are those couples that do not want to get married but still want to get together. Very few countries allow people of the same gender to get married but they still get kids together so such a couple will have a child but still not married. Then there are those people who just do not want to be together even if they have a child together. All these couples are not married but still have parental rights for unmarried couples. The only way that they can secure this is by having legal documents to bind their relationship with their kids and a good example is a birth certificate. Fathers should take paternities, that is the best proof that there is and this will earn them parental rights to their kids.
